Jason Tanner in London
"With a career defined by protecting what matters—from the safety of children and the reduction of crime to the preservation of Britain’s national heritage—I have spent decades at the intersection of public service by telling the wider story.
"My background as a broadcaster and communications specialist has always been more than just delivering a message; it is about revealing the positive impact behind the narrative created by us all. Today, I channel that experience into two distinct but deeply connected passions: defending free speech & explaining the UK's role in modern democracy by using London as the stage."
Defending Democracy & Free Speech: "I provide independent commentary on the vital, but often misunderstood role of constitutional monarchy in safeguarding fundamental freedoms & modern democracy. My unique narrative is built on a career spent understanding the systems that try to keep societies safe, healthy, and free. They include the private and the public, new & old media, citizen action & volunteering, parliament, politicians and the people who elect them; 'You & Me'."
Narrating with London's streets as the world's stage as a well-reviewed independent walking tour guide "I transform my journalistic training, royal, historical & political knowledge into engaging, vibrant experiences for visitors. I don’t just show people the sights; I reveal the historical and political soul of London and the people who we try and welcome. In fact most visitors discover they are partly Victorian Londoners themselves, no matter from where around the world they come from."
"Whether I am analysing the connection between the Crown and the Commons or guiding a group through the historic heart of the capital, my mission remains the same: to protect and appreciate our heritage, to positively progress our communities and values and to help people find their own truths through clear, expert communication.
"Please also spend a moment to think about a key concept of mine, based on an important word we regularly use. The concept is 'his story' . I would therefore suggest , if not insist, that our truths should take account of yours and 'her stories' also.
"Welcome to my Britain!"
